Where to find your apprentice/kickstart trainee

Apprentices don’t grow on trees and finding an apprentice that fits your business is more complex than popping out to the supermarket. However, there is plenty of support available, for both apprentices and Kickstart trainees.

Asking your business connections and family members if they know of anyone who is seeking an apprenticeship, or employment can be a useful place to start. It might save a lot of paperwork if you can find someone yourself!

How to register and use the apprenticeship service as an employer 

Recruit an apprentice is the official government service for posting and managing apprenticeship vacancies and traineeship opportunities in England.

The system enables training organisations to post vacancies on behalf of employers to be viewed and applied for by candidates that use the government’s find an apprenticeship service.

There is also extensive information to help you find an appropriate training organisation, where you can sort by the level of apprenticeship, and the category or skill area.
